Finance Manager - Operations

The Role:

The Finance Ops Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Finance Operations across ANZ, including Freight, Supply Chain, and CAPEX Control. This role will be responsible to ensure control principles are implemented across ANZ region.

  • Overseeing month-end general ledger close for warehouse operations, freight, and inventory.
  • Preparing monthly business reviews with financial and operational commentaries and presenting the financial results to the Operations team and ANZ leadership team.
  • Preparing and submitting reports to the FP&A team.
  • Maintaining BI Dashboards to support the business reporting teams.
  • Collaborating and partnering with Operations management.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting needs (Budgeting / Forecasting and Strategic
  • Business Planning) covering all aspects of warehouse operations.
  • Reporting on Headcount and Labour/Non-Labour costs by warehouse with detailed actual deviations analysis and planning scenarios.
  • Preparing and consolidating Forecasting and Budget costs.
  • Supporting the development of monthly inventory and logistics dashboards.
  • Responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, and Strategic Business Planning of inventory and freight.
  • Participating in cross-functional system implementation projects and process improvement projects.
  • Demonstrating compliance and integrity with accounting rules, company policies, and financial tools.
  • Contributing to audit reviews with the Compliance Officer and providing support on Ad-hoc tasks and queries.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, within commerce and industry.
  • CA or CPA qualified or an equivalent level professional qualification
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver on assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent Excel financial modelling skills. Power BI and Hyperion highly desirable.
  • Forecasting and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
